Annual School Supply Drives
Mabuhay, Inc.’s annual school supply drives are a heartfelt initiative aimed at empowering young learners both locally and abroad. Each year, Mabuhay, Inc. collects and distributes essential school supplies to under-resourced students in various schools across the Philippines as well as in underserved communities throughout Maryland counties. By providing backpacks, notebooks, writing tools, and other classroom necessities, Mabuhay, Inc. helps ensure that every student has a fair chance to succeed academically. These drives not only lighten the financial burden on families but also promote education as a pathway to a brighter future, staying true to Mabuhay, Inc.’s mission of service, community, and upliftment.

Cora Rice Foundation “Neediest Kids” Program
A joint undertaking with Prince George’s County Police Department, Mabuhay, Inc.
participates annually in packing school bags and providing entertainment for County’s neediest children.

Biennial Dental Mission
The biennial Mabuhay, Inc. Dental Mission brings much-needed dental services to poor, remote areas of the Philippines. In partnership with dentists from the Manila Chapter of the Philippine Dental Association, Mabuhay, Inc. provides funding, logistics, and volunteers to implement this worthwhile project.

Disaster Relief and Assistance
Mabuhay, Inc. provides financial support to aid individuals and communities affected by natural calamities, such as typhoons, mudslides, earthquakes, and volcanic eruptions in the Philippines. Recently, we partnered with the Capuchin Tertiary Sisters of the Holy Family to procure drinking water and essential relief goods for the victims of the 6.9 magnitude earthquake and Typhoon Tino in Cebu, Philippines.

Care, Protection, and Rehabilitation of Abused Children
Mabuhay, Inc. supports the mission of the Holy Family Home Bacolod Foundation, Inc. in providing a safe environment for orphaned, abandoned, and abused children. Located in Negros Occidental, Philippines, the Safe Home is run by the Capuchin Tertiary Sisters of the Holy Family and is duly licensed and accredited by the Department of Social Welfare and Development.

“King & Queen of Hearts”
Each year, residents of Attick Tower, a home for senior citizens in Beltsville, MD, are treated to sumptuous Filipino dinner and entertainment. The evening concludes with the selection of the year’s “King and Queen of Hearts” from among the residents.
